General Muhammadu Buhari The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has today, Wednesday, December 17, 2014, chosen Professor Yemi Osinbajo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) as his running mate as vice president in the 2015 presidential election scheduled for February 14, 2015. The Lagos based Osinbajo is a pastor at Olive Tree House of Prayer for All Nations in Banana Island, which is a Redeemed Christian Church of God Parish. Osinbajo is also the Ethics Adviser to the Advisory Board of the African Development Bank and the director of Citibank (non-executive). Furthermore, the appointed running mate and father of three has served in various capacities in the United Nations and has written, edited and co-authored several books and publications. The graduate of Law from the University of Lagos would automatically become the vice president of Nigeria if Buhari eventually wins the presidential race come 2015.

The Peoples Democratic Party has welcomed the emergence of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2015 general elections. This will be the fourth time General Buhari will be contesting in the presidential elections.
